Che è finita la vacanza
Ho prenotato x tre persone e l'hotel aveva solo stanze da due. Hanno aggiunto un letto pieghevole con tre materassini sopra dopo lungo dialogo ho ottenuto un letto singolo. Pulizia scarsa sotto i letti polvere da poterci riempire il Teide. Servizio ai tavoli x mezza pensione pessimo, cena alle 20 fine cena 22.20 lentissimi. Ascensore spento alle 23. Foto nn corrispondenti alla realtà. Parcheggio sterrato e x poche auto secondo parcheggio peggio tutti sassi appuntitipolvere e burrone. Colazione pulizia inesistente briciole e vaschette vuote e sporche in terra x giorni. Mai più. Grazie

«Posizione meravigliosa ma un po' deludente »
La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta per chi vuole andare sul Teide (come me) e allo stesso tempo visitare le spiagge a sud. Il prezzo è medio ma forse, col senno di poi, un po' caro. La struttura è carina, molto tipica, il giardino è accogliente e ben curato, il parcheggio è gratuito e la strada per arrivarci è tranquilla (ho letto persone che si lamentavano di questo, ma molto probabilmente non sono abituati alle strade di montagna). Il ristorante non è male, niente di eccezionale ma i piatti sono curati e i prezzi sono ragionevoli. Alcuni membri del personale sono simpatici e molto gentili. Io mi sono trovato bene ma non tornerò sicuramente per i motivi di cui sotto.
La struttura è in continua manutenzione (ma da quanto mi hanno raccontato è una cosa abbastanza comune sull'isola), nonostante gli esterni siano ben curati, le stanze sono piuttosto vecchie e mancano di attenzione. Leggendo le recensioni mi aspettavo situazioni drammatiche ma non è stato così. Niente di invivibile. Ma la pulizia non è il massimo (potrebbe essere migliorata). Il copriletto era vecchio e ogni sera prendevo e lo mettevo da parte. La televisione, sebbene io non la utilizzi, era inutile. Il frigobar chiuso a chiave. Inutile anche questo. Inoltre c'era una vecchia stufetta. L'ho usata per scaldare la camera visto che l'impianto di "condizionamento" era rumoroso e inutile (quindi spento). Il bagno aveva una fessura sempre aperta da dove passava aria gelida di notte. Io ho risolto chiudendo la porta del bagno, poi ho chiesto se si potevano coprire con il nastro le fessure. Prima mi è stato detto che non era possibile per l'umidità (capisco ma fa freddo), poi mi hanno fatto vedere altre stanze (peggiori di quella in cui stavo) e infine hanno messo il nastro che avevo chiesto. Per questo ringrazio la ragazza della reception che è stata gentilissima. Ho provato anche la "spa" ma hanno ragione molti commenti che dicono che è deludente. Ero tutto solo, la vista è bella e questo è stato positivo. Ma le jacuzzi sono piene di cloro (mi bruciavano gli occhi dopo poco) e hanno gli interruttori lontani (mai visto in una spa). La piscina interna principale invece è fredda (io non ho avuto il coraggio di entrarci). In pratica manca di manutenzione, tutto è abbastanza malmesso, e credo sia chiaro che nessuno della struttura abbia esperienza con la gestione di una spa. Alla fine non mi sono rilassato per niente... La colazione è mediocre. Ci sono due distributori di bevande calde e fredde.
